Man sentenced for enrolling at college as someone else

A 32-year-old man has been sentenced to three years and nine months in prison for using the identity of another man to enroll at an eastern Missouri community college. The U.S. attorney's office announced Tuesday that Malachi Duncan also was ordered to pay $57,000 in restitution.

New York's attorney general has been trying to investigate fraud in public comments on the Federal Communications Commission's anti-net neutrality plan but alleges that the FCC has refused to cooperate with the investigation. NY State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says that "hundreds of thousands of Americans" were likely impersonated in fake comments on the net neutrality docket.
